Rita Alexandrea was born and raised in New York. After High School, Rita attended the Mount Vernon Hospital School of Nursing in Mount Vernon, NY. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 30 years, retiring early to focus on writing. Rita concentrated on ghostwriting during the years she worked as a nurse and raised her family. Now retired, she has published the first book in the historical fiction series, Tambriea Always. Rita and her husband are frequent cruisers on Carnival Cruise Lines, and have done over 60 cruises all over the world. Rita speaks Italian and French, and with her husband, they spend their time in Italy whenever possible. When not traveling, Rita and her husband live in upstate New York with their dog, Daisy. They have six children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
